The Bible calls us to be hospitable, we can read in scripture that people gathered together for breaking the bread and to have fellowship. We want to create a comfortable environment for church members and visitors to feel welcome and facilitate extra fellowship.

"Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace."
1 Peter 4:8-10

There are so many ways to get involved in this area in ministry, from baking or bringing food to doing dishes.
